| OUR BUBBLY BAKEHOUSE BREAKFAST is served until 10am. A daily-changing cooked breakfast dish is offered in addition to homebaked breads and pastries, lighter-then-air, golden croissants baked daily, freshly-squeezed juice, luxurious original recipe healthy muesli, and Homestead organic preserves and fruit. We accommodate gluten-free or other dietary restrictions with appropriate prior notice. | ||||||||

| Our tasty muffins, like much of our luxurious food, avoid fats, refined sugar, white flour and high-cholesterol ingredients, yet through art and science may be rich in highest quality chocolate, fruits and flavours. When you start the day with such nutritionally-balanced luxury, how can you not end it with a nip from our wonderful range of liqueurs or single malts, a glass of top NewZealand wine, or French champagne? Then refresh with our own mineral spring water available free-of-charge at any time.
This season we offer evening, gourmet, verandah platters, by prior arrangement. Our cuisine has been awarded four stars by the most particular of lifestyle magazines, and may feature freshly shucked oysters from the bay at our front lawn. Local fish, prime meats and freshest ingredients from our own organic gardens are prepared inventively in a flavoursome, modern style by cuisine writer and broadcaster, Foodwriter's Guild award-winning chef/proprietor Michael Hooper. Alternatively we can recommend local restaurants just 5 minutes' drive away. Our platters really should be accompanied by premium Champagne or fine New Zealand wines. (Our large underground wine cellar is one of New Zealand's first). |
