Rates are shown in New Zealand Dollars and include GST. They also include "Bubbly Bake-House Breakfast" served till noon. Rates are per room per night, subject to change. Government-imposed wage surcharges incur a 10% levy on the eleven public holidays each year.

All rooms have wireless internet available, flat screen televisions with DVD and sound systems, tea and coffee facilities, fresh fruit bowl; complimentary sherry, wine, beer, beverages stocked in fridge; evening turn-down with homemade truffles and spring water, evening towel refreshment where required, bath robes, complimentary natural skincare products. The lakeside dry Finnish sauna is complimentary and operates through winter.

Oyster Bay Vew Room: sumptuous and just a little "Moulin Rouge".
Italian tiled ensuite bathroom and spa bath, with open European shower. King or twin bed plus double convertible couch bed. Bay views.

The Consul's Room: historic, dignified yet welcoming.
Bay views, large ensuite bathroom, native timbers, walk-in closet, super king or twin bed.

The Retreat: private, spacious, airy (purpose-built for easy access needs).
Garden floor of lakeside wooden building, with lounging area and a private lakeside deck, French doors, terracotta tiled floors, full tiled ensuite, super-king or twin bed plus double convertible couch bed, wood panelled ceiling, traditional wood-panelled walls. A unique retreat, popular with honeymoon / anniversary / romantic bookings.

The Pacific Room: spacious, lofty luxury.
Overlooking our Pateke duck sanctuary with peeks of the bay, a multi-channel surround-sound system, Pacific décor theme with an artist-painted vaulted ceiling, king bed plus comfortable German-made pull-down king single.

Dining arrangements
This summer we offer by advance arrangement the Homestead platter which is designed to match options from our extensive New Zealand wine cellar. The platter consists of a selection of local delicacies such as Orongo Bay oysters, free-range pork with smoked aubergine, local farm cheeses, Homemade duck liver pate, fresh-baked bread, home-made chutneys, smoked ocean-raised salmon, lamb, organic garden salad, olives and avocado - all subject to seasonal availability.  The price is $48 per person.  A gourmet barbecue may also be available for a minimum of 6 guests priced at $75 per person.

Our cellar features many top, rare New Zealand wines with a good selection by the glass and genuine Champagnes. Tea, filter coffee, homemade cookies are always complimentary. We also offer a full range of organic, Fair Trade Burton espresso.

Family Policy: Families travelling with children under twelve years confirmed only when two rooms in the main building or the two lakeside rooms are reserved.  More than 2 guests occupying one room incurs a charge of $150 per person. No room accommodates more than 2 adults and 2 children.

Airport transfers: by mini-coach - please check pricing with us as a separate operator is used.

Credit card assured reservations (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) preferred.  Prepayment qualifies for special rewards during some periods.

Cancellation conditions: 25% retained/chargeable for cancellations with less than 30 days notice; forfeiture of full charges owing for accommodation and services reserved with less than 7 days notice of cancellation. Please note that full prepayment is required to confirm rooms ffor the peak season December through April.
